Best Beaches
Here is some classic holiday porn for you – the 360PT team’s favourite beaches across the globe.
Lord Howe Island, Australia
This tiny Australian island in the Tasman Sea east of Port Macquarie has sandy beaches, subtropical forests and clear waters. Totally unspoilt and remote with mountains sloping right down to the sea are just some of the reasons we fell in love with this place. In the south, a trail winds up soaring Mount Gower, with sweeping views. The island is home to rare seabirds, including masked boobies. There is also incredible marine life with Ned’s Beach in the north having calm fish and coral-rich waters.
Camps Bay, Cape Town
A beautiful, white, sandy beach with a palm fringed promenade of restaurants, cafes and shops. An affluent suburb on South Africa, the beach has stunning views of the Twelve Apostles and Table Mountain. We love it because of its buzzy vibe.
Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos
Tucked away amidst the crystal-clear waters of the Turks and Caicos, Parrot Cay has over a thousand acres of pristine white sand beaches and lush tropical landscapes. It is one of the most secluded and exclusive beaches in the Caribbean.
Anguilla, Caribbean
On a recent trip to Anguilla our very own James was blown away by the powder white sand, clear ocean and awesome vibe of the reggae beach bars. Pretty close to heaven, we say.
Anse Lazio, Seychelles
On the northwest tip of Praslin Island, Anse Lazio is known widely as the most beautiful beach in the Seychelles. It’s no wonder – the beach is long and broad with velvety sand and shocking blue water, and it’s fringed with swaying palms and leafy takamaka trees.
Landaa Giraavaru, Maldives
We can’t have a best beach article and not mention the Maldives! Pretty much any beach you are lucky enough to sit on in the Maldives is heavenly with their white beaches, blue seas and dolphins swimming past. However, our personal favourite is the Four Season’s Landaa Giraavaru – a two kilometre lagoon and perfect white beach.
