I believe that travelling well is a constant work in progress, and it starts very simply with an open mind, the ability to make honest connections with others, and a profound respect for the natural world and our vastly different cultures. I love sharing my own revelations from the road with clients, always encouraging them to push outside of their comfort zones. These exotic experiences eventually become inspiring stories passed down for generations, which enlighten us about the unique point in time we live in.
As the face of travel evolves, travellers will be more dependent on the security and support of our teams on the ground, as well as considering the footprint they leave behind, by choosing sustainably-conscious suppliers or giving back to each community visited.
My passion for travel lies in the journey itself; regardless of the time and distance it takes to arrive, there is a meaningful pleasure that comes with ‘getting there,’ ‘getting to know’ the people along the way, ‘getting to taste’ the culinary delights, and ‘getting it right,’ by accepting that we are all transient visitors into a foreign world, peeking temporarily into the lives of others and respecting their boundaries.”
