My entire career in the travel industry has encompassed roles within operations, sales and marketing. It has now been four years since establishing my own travel consultancy, and I haven’t looked back since creating unique travel experiences directly for my clients! This period has offered insight to the emotions involved when people book holidays; their time off is precious and the experience needs to be absolutely perfect.

1. Describe your professional situation before joining 360?
My entire career in the travel industry has encompassed roles within operations, sales and marketing. It has now been four years since establishing my own travel consultancy, and I haven’t looked back since creating unique travel experiences directly for my clients! This period has offered insight to the emotions involved when people book holidays; their time off is precious and the experience needs to be absolutely perfect. I focus on providing a close personal concierge service that promises my clients a holiday that meets their expectations, and then exceeds them by anticipating more detailed needs. To achieve this, I strongly believe you must know your clients and your suppliers intimately, in order to match the right people to the right destination, hotels and experiences. By creating a trusted bond with my clients, this inevitably keeps them coming back to me when planning their future adventures!
2. What made 360 stand out compared to other luxury travel companies?
As a luxury travel consultant, I know the best people and places in inspiring destinations to offer my clients suggestions for new experiences, while always reassuring them of the top level of quality and service they expect. 360 enables me to deliver on this due to their exceptional relationships with the most knowledgeable and passionate suppliers in the industry. Regular updates and training sessions are available to all 360 Partners, and I’m encouraged to build these personal relationships with suppliers so I know that they protect my clients and understand their individual requirements. 3. How would you describe the support of the head office team?
360 has a highly specialist support team at Head office ready to assist with flights, advice on destinations and hotels, marketing, administration assistance and anything else that arises from running your business. It’s reassuring to be part of a team where everyone knows you, understands your business and ultimately has a true understanding of what makes a luxury booking and travel experience.
4. What do you love most about being an independent travel designer?
I love helping clients challenge their own perceptions of what travel should be and assisting them to create experiences that are wholly personal to everyone travelling. The internet is a wonderful thing, but when booking trips online, the personalised aspect is lacking. The definition of luxury is entirely subjective; however, to achieve the absolute best value for your time away, I must stress the importance of a personal travel advisor looking after your arrangements who takes care to truly understand your needs. And of course – the best part of being an independent travel designer is enjoying the freedom and flexibility that allows us to work and play hard simultaneously, striking a perfect balance.
