LA & The Beverly Hills Hotel

A Hollywood legend

Los Angeles will sit at the heart of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosting eight matches, including a quarter-final at SoFi Stadium. Your base for these games is The Beverly Hills Hotel, aka The Pink Palace, an enduring icon of Californian hospitality located on a quiet slice of Sunset Boulevard within 12 lush acres of tropical gardens. Indeed, The Beverly Hills Hotel is a destination in itself, its hallways and bedrooms echoing the Hollywood legends who have stayed there: Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and Faye Dunaway, to name a few.

Between matches, lounge at the turquoise-coloured pool or refuel at the Polo Lounge. Close to the hotel, Rodeo Drive, The Broad, the galleries of Melrose Hill, and some of the city’s most sought-after restaurants are all within easy reach. And the hotel bases you in an ideal location for the Getty’s hilltop galleries, coastal drives to Malibu for Pacific-view lunches, and helicopter transfers to Santa Barbara’s wine country. The bungalows are the clear choice for elevated overnight stays, some with an infinity pool, others with grand pianos, but all utterly sublime.

Boston & The Langham, Boston

A Sophisticated downtown retreat

Boston will host seven World Cup matches in 2026, including a quarter-final at Gillette Stadium and England’s match with Ghana at Boston Stadium. One of America’s oldest cities, it offers a contrasting World Cup experience to Los Angeles: historic streets, waterfront neighbourhoods and a compact, walkable city centre. Your base will be The Langham, Boston, housed within the former Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, blending contemporary luxuries inside with the grandeur of its 1920’s heritage on the outside.

Between matches, explore Beacon Hill’s gaslamp-lit streets and Federal-era townhouses, follow the Freedom Trail, and stroll the harbourwalk. Afterwards, retreat to The Langham’s generous rooms and suites, where Italian marble bathrooms, bespoke furnishings and oversized windows frame views across the city. Evenings in the Langham are best spent sipping cocktails within the art-filled, 1920s-era lounge of The Fed, housed within the former banking hall, which, for the occasion, will be serving a series of ‘Host Nation’ sliders and cocktails crafted for the World Cup.

Four Seasons Mexico City

The World Cup begins here

The tournament begins in Mexico City on 11 June, bringing with it unrivalled football culture, cool summer weather and the legendary Estadio Azteca, the first stadium in history to host three World Cup opening matches. But your base for the opening is the Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City, a sophisticated urban oasis built around a sanctuary-like courtyard. Indeed, when the Zócalo fills with supporters, an escape to Four Seasons Mexico City will feel remarkably tranquil, particularly for a city of twenty million people.

The light-filled rooms and suites are at their best overlooking the lush gardens, specifically the Premier Terrace Room, with views of the courtyard from a terrace reached via elegant French doors. There are numerous bars and restaurants, but a highlight is the Fifty Mils cocktail bar, regularly ranked amongst North America’s best cocktail bars. Between matches, wander the leafy avenues of Condesa and Roma, home to some of Mexico City’s finest restaurants and galleries. Explore the canals and floating gardens of Xochimilco aboard a colourful trajinera, browse the treasures of the Museo Nacional de Antropología, or take a sunrise hot-air balloon flight above the Teotihuacán pyramids.

Guadalajara & Casa Habita

A peek inside Mexico’s Creative Heart

Guadalajara will host four FIFA World Cup matches in 2026, offering visitors a chance to experience a side of Mexico that often escapes international eyes. Regarded as something of a cultural capital, and the largest city in Jalisco state, this is the birthplace of mariachi music and tequila, a city of striking colonial architecture, leafy avenues and one of Mexico’s most influential creative scenes. Your base is Casa Habita, a stunningly restored 1940s mansion merged with a contemporary structure, in the chic Lafayette district.

Blending Mexican modernism with a design-forward eye towards understated luxury, the hotel feels almost homely with just 37 rooms, a rooftop pool and a laid-back mood, effortlessly reflecting the neighbourhood’s charm. The restaurant has the glamorous style of an art deco speakeasy: moss green accented with metals and polished woods, while the spa has massage cabins, a sauna and a steam room as well as amazing panoramas of Guadalajara´s skyline from an open-air rooftop space dedicated to yoga and meditation.

Casa Habita makes an excellent base to explore Lafayette’s independent galleries, the Art Deco architecture, and José Clemente Orozco’s remarkable murals at Hospicio Cabañas, before venturing into Tequila country for private tastings among the agave fields.

Vancouver & Rosewood Hotel Georgia

City Meets Wilderness

Vancouver will host seven World Cup matches in 2026, including two knockout-stage fixtures. Framed by mountains, forest and the Pacific Ocean, it is one of the few host cities where a morning in the wilderness can, with a little expert travel planning, effortlessly precede an evening at the stadium. You’ll stay at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, a Vancouver landmark since 1927, with a guest list that includes everyone from Elvis to John Wayne.

The hotel offers a chic refuge from downtown Vancouver, with elegant rooms and suites that blend modern luxuries with old-world glamour, while the award-winning spa and indoor saltwater lap pool provide a welcome reprieve between excursions. The Hawksworth Restaurant remains one of Vancouver’s most celebrated tables, showcasing Pacific Northwest ingredients through sophisticated seasonal menus, and the atmospheric 1927 Lobby Lounge serves everything from afternoon tea to expertly crafted cocktails beneath soaring ceilings ornamented by glittering chandeliers.

Beyond the football, Vancouver invites exploration. Cycle the seawall around Stanley Park with views across the North Shore Mountains, take to the sky in a seaplane over the Gulf Islands, or board a helicopter bound for Whistler’s mountains and glaciers, and if you find yourself with a taste for this wonderful country, consider extending your trip with a journey to Haida Gwaii or the Yukon.

Toronto & The Hazelton Hotel

Canada’s Cosmopolitan Capital

Toronto is diverse and walkable, revealing itself neighbourhood by neighbourhood, from Yorkville’s polished streets to the vibrant vintage stores and cafés of Kensington Market. And your base, The Hazelton Hotel, is perhaps its most celebrated address. Located in the heart of Yorkville, it combines discreet luxury with the feel of a private members club. Spacious rooms and suites feature chic marble bathrooms, high ceilings, and elegant furnishings, while the Luxury King Balcony Rooms boast a walk-out balcony through impressive French doors. The One at The Hazelton Hotel is a chic restaurant focused on polished North American cuisine, with an atrium for al fresco dining.

There are six World Cup matches taking place in Toronto, so if you plan to see them all, you’ll have plenty of between-match time to see the industrial architecture and boutiques of the Distillery District, browse the independent boutiques and cafés of Ossington Avenue, and to explore Kensington Market’s eclectic mix of food and culture. For the latter, arrive hungry: some of Toronto’s most beloved independent bakeries, taco counters and cafés are hidden among those charming and colourful Victorian terraces. For travellers extending their stay, the vineyards of Niagara-on-the-Lake provide a lovely escape from the city, pairing award-winning wineries with farm-to-table dining and the distinctive terroir of the Niagara Peninsula.

Speak with your 360 Private Travel designer to create a World Cup itinerary that goes far beyond the stadium.
