Jules

Based in Hertfordshire, Jules has been passionate about travel and service all her life and has a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.   In her 22 years in the industry she has been lucky enough to combine this with one of her greatest pleasures, skiing.  She spent many seasons as Sales & Marketing Manager for a luxury ski chalet operator before setting up her own travel company, Summers & Winters, in 2008.

She has also used her operator expertise and worked on a consultancy basis for some of the top ski operators and properties.  In the process she was named as one of the ‘Top Britains you need to know in the world of snow’ in both the Times and Telegraph.

Although her company started as just ski, her clients loved what she arranged for the winter months and soon started making worldwide, year-round enquiries.  As such, the company has grown to encompass summers as well as winters.

With a young family of her own, she really understands the considerations and planning required when travelling with children.  The devil really is in the detail.

Away from work, she has a busy home life, and is happiest when the house is buzzing with friends and family.  She is a self-proclaimed foodie but has to keep active to counteract it!  She also has a keen eye for photography but has retired her big old camera in favour of the one that lives in her pocket.  Jules has also spent many hours assisting on photo shoots in chalets and villas, as she is known for her eye for detail- she can spot a wonky cushion at 50 paces!
