My passion for travel started as a child in the UK and I was fortunate to have enjoyed many overseas family holidays thanks to my parents’ fascination with North Africa. I have vivid memories of walking through Moroccan souks, marvelling at camels laden with goods on the side of the road and being captivated by a snake charmer. The desire to explore new places and learn from different cultures has remained a central theme in my life. As a fearless 18-year-old, on my GAP year travelling through Asia and Australia, I quite happily bungee jumped off a bridge in Queensland and canoed through crocodile-infested waters in Kakadu National Park. My tastes and expectations may have changed since my backpacking days but my love of adventure has only grown stronger.

Almost 30 years working in the travel and aviation sectors have allowed me to understand the industry from a different perspective, understanding the importance of the guest experience and looking at the entire customer journey; equally importantly, my previous roles have afforded me the opportunity to travel extensively – 63 countries visited at the last count from Argentina to Turkmenistan, from Kenya to Vietnam.

My sense of adventure and love of Asia brought me to Hong Kong where I have lived for the past 10 years. I now have the privilege of sharing my knowledge and experience with clients and witnessing their excitement as they create treasured holiday memories of their own.
