Recent travels for Gill are a speed-read of the world atlas – she’s sampled Costa Rica, Ecuador, the Galapagos, Bali & Komodo in Indonesia and India (Mumbai, Rajasthan and Agra), plus city breaks in Tokyo and Taiwan.
In a way, it’s an extension of a wanderlust that began in her 20s after backpacking around South-east Asia, working in Australia, and finally settling in Hong Kong. As her family has grown, her adventures have continued but now comfort and luxury are important factors too.
She says: “I love learning about new cultures, meeting local people and sampling all types of cuisine. My goal is to help my clients step into a new environment, and then experience all that it has to offer… and ultimately leave no damaging footprint.”
