Born in Sydney, Joanna located to Hong Kong in 2013 after a decade of working for luxury international hotel groups. Her love of travel continued as she used her base in Asia to catapult around the globe, and soon became drawn to the beauty, freedom and anonymity of a private residence.
Over these years of travelling & working, she explored various types of private residences in all different locations and climates and became enamoured with the history and stories behind the houses, the owners and past guests who had stayed in them. Whether the residence was a luxury self-catered home, or a fully serviced property, the experience was unique and offered such a great sense of pleasure, sharing meals and activities with loved ones who she shared the holiday with. From this love, Joanna developed Luxuosa Residences, a truly unique, luxury residence collection focused on beautiful homes bursting with real personality and heart.
Joanna is an experienced specialist in group holiday bookings and offers her service to book both private residences as well as luxury hotels and resorts. Her contacts and relationships with specialists on the ground enables her to offer her clients experiences both within and outside of the residence, and curate her clients as fitness instructors, spa therapists, animators, chefs or tour guides.
Things she loves: Her husband and two kids, farmers markets, handmade textiles, an Aperol Spritz after a long swim in summer, fresh sourdough with butter.
Things she loathes: Unpacking after a holiday (hello post holiday blues!), luke warm coffee, bad drivers.
